Nick wasn’t a huge fan of Recover’s 1911 grip wrap and rail bolt-on accessory. His view was that, while it works as advertised, there are other ways of getting the same thing done. Which may or may not apply to their newest release, the BC2 Grip Rail System for full-size Beretta pistols. It comes in three stylish colors and is priced the same – $49.95 as the 1911 version. Press release after the jump . . .
Los Angeles, Calif. (December 2014) – Recover Tactical is proud to announce the release of the new Recover BC2 grip and rail system for the Beretta 92/96 series of pistols. The Beretta grip and rail system follows on the success of Recover’s CC3 grip and rail for 1911s. The patented design of the BC2 adds a fully functional picatinny rail to the Beretta and can be easily installed in about three minutes without a gunsmith.
Just like Recover’s popular 1911 grips, the new Beretta BC2 grip and rail system was design by world renowned Israeli weapons designer Tamir PRecover Tactical BC2 Grip Beretta 2-Colorsorat (Porat also designed the IWI Tavor assault rifle).
The BC2 grip is manufactured in Israel from the same high-grade, glass-reinforced polymer used by many polymer gun manufacturers. The Recover BC2 will not scratch or damage your gun. Weighing in at only about 65 grams it will not significantly change the weight of your gun or the thickness of the grip.
The Recover Beretta grip and rail system is currently available in black, desert sand, OD green and digital camo and comes with a limited lifetime warranty. Retailing for only $49.99, the BC2 is the easiest and most affordable way to add a full picatinny rail to a Beretta.
According to Ron Rosenberg, President of Recover Tactical, “The new BC2 grip and rail system captures the essence of the Beretta design and enhances the existing features of the Berretta and compliments it by giving you the ability to take the pistol into the twentieth century to add modern accessories to your gun.”
In fact, nearly all of Recover’s first Beretta customers have been very happy with the grips’ fit on their guns and its feel in their hands. Initial reviews, as well as many photos, from actual customers on Recover’s Facebook page and on popular gun forums have also proven that the BC2 is a quality design that lives up to its hype.
Recover is also planning to release the innovative new HC11 holster for 1911 in January 2015.

The Beretta is too much gun for a 9mm. Never cared enough for one to invest in the gun and a 50 dollar add on.
You must REALLY hate the P210 then!
Not to mention the P226 is heavier than the 92.
I don’t hate them. Never used a 210. The 92, the 226 the p89 are too big and bulky for caliber. IMHO.
I’ve always felt the same way about the 1911 and the .45acp.
Meh.
I have that exact INOX 92. A great firearm. I know the grip is large, but it seems to have been designed for my hands. If you need a purse-gun, there are plenty of options out there.
And I applaud the innovative thinking of Recover, but it’s just not something I need.
As a guy who lived through Hurricane Sandy and 7 days without power I will never again buy a self defense guy that does not have a rail.
This is a very good idea for all of the Beretta 92FS owners who only own one gun.
My eyes!
Would it ruin the fit for a kydex holster with the added thickness to the trigger guard?
Yes. Defiantly.
I laughed at your error. Those defiant grips, curse you!
Will this work on Italian police retired pistols with the european mag release?
If I wanted a rail I would have bought an A1 instead of an FS. I’d sooner cut off my penis and throw it into a burning building than put that on my 92.
that ought to stop that burning sensation…
I’d put it on my 92 before I’d cut off my penis.
Watch me make my Beretta Inox look like a Taurus PT92!
The world’s most oversized handgun for the caliber and these guys invented something to make it BIGGER? Good work!
As though a 92 isn’t big enough already.
I hope TTAG product posts aren’t for sale.
John
Was in the Army when the .45acp was in use and I had to qualify on it. Then the Baretta came into being, the MPs hated it. As they said and some of the postings say even today, too big of a gun for a smaller caliber. I’ll keep my .45 1911s.
Granted it’s a lot cheaper, but if you really want to attach a rail to your Beretta, why not just get the Surefire rail mount.
