Zev Technologies is best known for their GLOCK aftermarket parts. A few months ago I noticed the company’s expansion into the AR market. Today at SHOT Show Zev revealed their 6.5 Creedmoor AR. Like all of Zev’s AR’s . . .

the 6.5 Creedmoor features a self-regulating gas block, grey AR Gold flat face trigger (made exclusively for Zev), 18″ carbon fiber wrapped barrel, and PWS ratchet castle nut and end plate.

It’s fully ambidextrous and the reset on their exclusive trigger is extremely short and soft, perfect for the caliber.

  1. Confused.
How to you get a cartridge with an OAL of 2.825 inches to run in an AR-15 platform?

Or is it actually an AR-10?

    • The mag well is obviously larger than that of an AR-15. Either it’s actually an AR-10, or proprietary sizing. My bet is on an AR-10 platform, because the 6.5 Creedmoor is nearly identical to the .308 Winchester COAL, and bolt face diameter IS identical at .473″.

  2. Looks like a G2 “small frame” sized 308.

Don’t call it “fully ambi” unless it has a right hand bolt catch, which their current G1 “large frame” 308 receiver does not. No pics of the right side above.
