There’s a story out of The San Bernardino Sun that Obama’s political action group, Organizing for Action, held a rally at the National Orange Show Events Center. A grand total of…three people showed up. And still it made the news, with the leader of the rally having his statements portrayed as if he’d been addressing a huge throng. “‘It’s three people today, but it will be 23 next time, and we’ll see the time after that,’ (Curtis) Lewis said.” And while it’s pretty indicative of the general level of enthusiasm for gun control, the bigger story here is the fact that the paper actually ran the article in the first place. I’d love to see that same coverage for the hundreds and thousands of people that regularly show up protesting in favor of their Second Amendment rights. As if.
Meanwhile several thousand show up in support of 2A in MA/CT/NY etc. and mainstream media ignores or marginalizes the crowd.
That would require unbiased journalism. Which died last year along with a lot of papers and magazines that made the concept a reality.
Welcome to the future.
Hilarious. 90%, eh? WHERE ARE THEY?
we haven’t even see 2%
Hey, they said 23 next time. LOL. Do you need cops for crowd control at 23? Oh brother.
It’s summer and the libs don’t care. They have lost interest in dear leader after learning he’s spying on people 10 fold what Bush ever dreamed of.
They called in sick.
I doubt Bloombergs buss will get crowds out side of NY and CT as well but the media will lie for the fascist agenda.
MAIG’s not going to get a lot of traction in San Bernardino – a city that recently filed for bankruptcy, and whose county is probably the best of the Southern CA counties for CCW issue. San Bernardino County extends from the eastern border of LA county all the way to the Arizona border, and it’s got a lot of places where law enforcement is *hours* away if things go bad. It’s not Bloomberg country.
On the other hand, at least we’ve got them beaten down enough that even their organizers are admitting the 2A at least exists:
Eliniminating Gun Free Zones and switching to shall issue with nationwide reciprocity sounds like a good start to me.
Amen Accur81 !

I guess there’s just not that much left for the antis to rally for in California. Soldering guns? Label guns? Why rally when the elected officials are giving them everything they want anyway.
After reading the previous post maybe I’m jumping to conclusions. Maybe that’s a pocket where the antis are actually outnumbered and unwelcome.
SBSD Deputy to CBS camera crew:
“There’s nothing more to see here; move along…and quit trying to include me with these three, I’m not with them so quit trying to make it appear I am!
“A new CNN/ORC International poll gives Obama an approval rating of 45%, a drop of 8 percentage points over the past month.” WaPo is saying it is dipping even more according to other polls but did not specify.
As much fun as it is to make fun of CA, it is only the political leadership elected through fraud that does the dirty work. Those that know have hunted and target shot in this state since 1850. they can pass all the anti-gun legislation they want, no one will follow it…..!
So according to obumer 90% of the people want universal background checks and stricter gun control so that means there must be only 3.333 people San Bernardino
Hey cool, I was actually at that rally in Austin.
as was I
Ditto.
So why put a picture in with the article showing hundreds at a pro-gun rally? I want to see the 3 pathetic anti-gun people.
Two were camera shy, and one was Feinkenstein. The lense used by the Sun photographer wasn’t made of Lexan, so it shattered when she came into view. Oops.
“It’s three people today, but it will be 23 next time”
How utterly lame. My LGS will have more people than that on line waiting to get in, and when they walk out they leave their money in the store.
The LA Times now says there is a bullet-buying loophole. They are now saying a law has to be passed, like a background check for ammo purchases. They go on to say a bunch of other junk but honestly I didn’t read it. http://www.latimes.com/news/local/la-me-cap-guns-20130617%2c0%2c3631894.column
Because, you know, so many who don’t own guns go out and stock up on ammo.
Next time, it should be a thousand pro-gun types. Then, it might be a mighty long time till the next ofa anti-gun rally.
San Bernardino belongs to the gangs lock, stock, barrel and ammo.
I’m surprised that even three people showed.
lost from Los angeles
San Bernardino? Really? Did these clowns get lost on the way to Berkley or something?
