EQUALITY, Ill. — A coroner in southern Illinois says a dropped gun fired a bullet that accidentally killed a 59-year-old woman in her home. Gallatin County Coroner Tony Cox says Lawana Hancock of Equality died last week after being shot once in the lower back. Cox says an autopsy shows the bullet traveled through her left lung, then went upward through her neck and lodged in her jaw. The coroner tells The (Harrisburg) Daily Register that Hancock’s husband and a friend were at the house at the time.
What kind of gun? Certainly nothing manufactured in the last 50 years.
But, the gun did not load itself, did it? They did not have the safety on. Nor the chamber empty. Some people are stupid. Some people are not concerned about their safety and end up killing themselves and others. Is alcohol evil because people have addictions to it and with excessive use, can cause people to kill while driving drunk? The gun is not evil, the owner was just careless, and payed the price of that carelessness.
Amen friend. Finally someone with common sense.

Read the 2nd and 3rd Amendment. You ask: What is the 3rd? Protects against having to quarter government soldiers. How do you suppose we do that without guns? MA., CT., NY., CAL. and Chicago have the strictest regulations on weapons and they have the highest crime rates. The proof is in the pudding. Take a look at Buffalo NYs amount of murders in the past year. Also on the rise. If you ban guns only criminals will have guns. Also, making guns illegal will now make criminals out of otherwise hard working, taxpaying Americans who own guns for all the right reason.

What if I fell on a knife? Let’s ban knives, why don’t we? Or if I burnt myself on a stove. Let’s ban stoves, why don’t we? Or if I was swinging my fists around for some reason and hit myself in the face? Your argument is utterly invalid. You are giving human attributes to an inanimate object. A gun is a machine. Everything it is made to do is in context. If I shot you, that would be bad (though you are very, VERY naive and have a horrible habit of bias and generalizations in your arguments, I still value your life.). When Navy Seals shot Osama Bin Laden, that was good. Context.
how about we ban bombs over in the middle east. violence will stop then right?

Newer guns have safety features that stop the gun from firing when it is dropped.
