Waiting to pack his head with more active shooter strategery lessons up in Epping, it looks like RF’s killing time before class this morning in the SIG Academy pro shop. And looky looky what he’s found there – a couple of aluminum-framed prototype rifles. The intimidating one in basic black with the fluted barrel is a Blaser TAC2 chambered in .338 Lapua. Wearing the more comforting earth tone is the SSG3000 in .308. Unfortunately, neither is for sale yet. The only question is, will RF be tempted enough to bust out the Amex Black Card and make an offer anyway before he departs for home? Stay tuned to find out. More pics after the jump . . .

  1. That Blaser is pretty slick. I’ve always been facinated with straight-pull bolt actions. Still waiting for that K-31 to show up in my gun safe.

  2. If RF is dropping Amex Black plastic, I’m paying too much for my TTAG subscription!

    Cool guns, though.
