This has to be one of the more interesting pieces of kit I’ve seen at SHOT Show this year — which admittedly isn’t saying much. A Mr. Cisko, self-proclaimed “master gunfighter,” was sporting a kydex quick-draw holster at the ATI booth, whipping out his big black Omni rifle with amazing ease. The gizmo appears to hold the AR pistol fairly firmly in place, but there’s no way I’d want to be the guinea pig for that test. As far as I can tell this puppy is USPSA legal — it covers the trigger guard completely, after all. The magazines, on the other hand, might be a touch over that 170mm mark.

  1. The only way this could be more ridiculous would be if it was also made for the F.A.L. pistol. Then I could carry the 7.62 as primary and 5.56 as the under powered back up. IWB.

    • That buffer tube is awefully close to his shoulder too. If he leans forward he will be in SBR range.

  2. Self proclaimed “Master Gunfighter”…. That’s one of the fastest ways I think I’ve ever seen to make yourself look like an epic douche-canoe. One of the others is wearing that “holster”.

I wonder if the O.C.TX guys will use them with rifles?

  3. This will probably sell quite well. Most mall ninja gear seems to.

I think I’m going to store mine in between my stockpile of Tactical Bacon and my Jump to Conclusions Mat.

  4. That holster is freak’n ridiculous. While I love the AR platform, I do not understand why someone would want an AR pistol at all.

    • I don’t understand why someone would own a derringer that shoots a .45-70 Government round, but I realize I don’t have to understand.

      • Amen to that. Stop worrying about what others are doing and you’d prolly be better off anyway lol dumbass people always quick to judge others its pathetic.

  5. I’ll stick to a 3 point sling if I need to use both hands, obviously they wouldn’t have thought of it if someone hadn’t thrown the suggestion out there, so someone will buy it…just not me.

  6. Man are you guys out of the loop. That’s The Cisco Kid from Impossible Shots on Outdoor Channel. I’ve seen him shoot 2 AR pistols rapid fire and beyond accurately. And probably better than EVERYONE who has ever commented on TTAG. And he used that goofy holster LOL

    • So because we don’t watch that show….we are out of the loop? I’m glad I’m not in that loop! Who cares if I guy can shoot 3 ARs while standing on a beach beach ball, juggle flaming bowling ball pins at the same time. It’s still STOOOOPID.

      • Gee whiz I’m an old man and I said it was GOOFY. Yeah you and Nick Leghorn are way out of the loop. Cisco is a professional trick shooter generally with sixguns. Nick should know who this guy is…

  7. I don’t understand how being a professional trick shooter equates to being a “master gunfighter.”

  8. Nick, I appreciate all you’ve contributed to TTAG. However, did you post this and use the phrase “self proclaimed” just to disparage someone? Having spent time with Cisko at several Fast Draw Events, my family found him to be one of the nicest “gun guys” you will ever meet. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=44Sy3-KKrqc
With all the crap being dished out by the likes of MDA and Everytown maybe we shouldn’t be calling each other D Bags? The name calling is pretty sad even if the product has a limited market. BTW most of the ‘mall ninja’ ‘tacti-cool products TTAG reviews have a limited market as well. Who’s next?
