“Based on the serial number from the police report obtained by Judicial Watch and documents obtained during our Fast and Furious investigation, we can confirm that the assault rifle recovered in the vehicle on July 30, 2013 was purchased by Sean Christopher Steward. Steward pled guilty to firearms trafficking charges resulting from his involvement with Operation Fast and Furious.” – Sen. Charles Grassley and Rep. 1. Oh my stars! Who could have predicted such a tragedy? Surely not millions of everyday citizens…

  2. Article Two, Section Four of the United States Constitution provides that: “The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other High crimes and Misdemeanors.”

Would arming foreign nationals that have criminal intent, operate as a criminal organization, and work to intimidate and murder United States Citizens, AND concealing evidence of those activities, and likely evidence of other inappropriate activities be an very clear example of Treason, and High Crimes?

I am pretty sure I know that answer, but would like to hear from someone that actually knows.

    • Read the entire language. It requires not only a vote by the House to Impeach, it requires 2/3 of the Senate to convict. Any prosecutor will tell you that you only bring charges if you believe that you have a reasonable prospect of getting a conviction. There is no way that the Senate would have voted to convict no matter what the evidence said. Every time that I see something like this I have to wonder if the person understands that when the House impeaches it is acting like a grand jury and not a trial court.

      • Well, it’s true that federal prosecutors do have high conviction rates, most recently reported as being about 93% for 2011 or 2012, and above 90% for the past decade or so.

Nevertheless, an impeachment proceeding in the House and any subsequent trial in the Senate would be inherently and inescapably political. Valid comparisons to straight criminal justice proceedings are limited, as impeachment proceedings, regardless the outcome, can be an end in themselves.

  3. A national firearms registration scheme is needed so that we can track the criminal misdeeds of our elected officials. And close the gun show loophole. Can’t have holder and slow joe buying guns under the radar and moving them to cartels. And national UBCs. Holders name on a 1000 background checks should raise a few warning flags. 🙂

  4. See, folks, this is why we are losing. People are crowing that this is a victory. Well, Eric Holder is now a millionaire, with lifetime pension and healthcare on top. He will never be punished. Therefore America loses. Some jacka$$ has to retire early and this is a victory?!?! My God, we are so f**ked.

    • Take a deep breath and relax. This is a long term fight. I’ve been in it since 68.

As for Holders crimes. People in their 90’s that have had long retirements are still being arrested and charged with crimes against humanity for acts committed in the 1940’s.

Whether or not holder and company ever come to trial for their crimes depends a lot on us staying the course and continuing to put the constitution back into place as the law of the land.

    • This is an evasive move on Holder’s part but unless he moves to Belize or some other 3rd world nation without extradition he can clearly be called out for perjury at a minimum and accessory to murder at a max. It’s not going to happen on the Obama watch but might in 3 years.

Forget about pardons, he would have to be convicted of something first. Presidents can’t pardon someone ahead of an indictment although he might go the Billy route and cop a plea deal should the need arise. A Senate run by R’s might go that route to pressure him into flipping but he and O go way back so that’s not likely.

  5. And that includes any criminals still alive from the Ronnie Raygun era and every administration till the present day. When it comes to criminals in government past, present and future it will take someone with the courage to start throwing them in jail. I elect bush and cheney to be the first to get rooms at leavenworth followed closely by the present administration.

  6. It would be nice for the replacement to be properly vetted and come from a non-partisan group of attorney generals at the state level but some how I think we are getting a partisan hack with a dime store degree that will continue the same policies.

  7. And anybody wanting to finally see heads roll from the top down… Nothing to see here because I’m sure the next guy will be clean and the BATF had nothing to do with it. Don’t you dare cut the barrel of your evil black rifle shorter than 16″, make your “arm brace” look more like a stock, or forget what race you are when you fill out that paperwork.

  8. The powers of good should wait until Obummer is out of office to prosecute Holder. They have 7 years from the time the crime was committed and there is no statute of limitations on murder/capital crimes, then there can be no pardon from this president anyway.

  9. statue of limitations. . . . have patience kids. getting the senate in R hands only gets us the necessary hearings and ability to get documents. Another year to investigate. Another year b/c of election year jitters. . . come 2017, hopefully an R is in the WH and the R’s still hold Senate. Then you go after the bastards. Frankly, I don’t think Barry would have any immunity (think Nixon) and I doubt a newly minted R president would pardon a Kenyan (sorry, had to go there) and voila. . . . he can rot in jail with Holder and other numb nuts like Susan Rice, Kerry, and Clinton.

      • I have seen this movie before. Too many people want instant results. game theory. chess. strategy. If you are gonna crush your enemies, do it to make sure they are done. these quick strikes don’t work. slow, steady, build your evidence, make it hurt. this is a 20 yr war. if the R’s play their cards right, and don’t let the ultra-far right wingers derail things with imprudent demands, then the R’s can be in power for years. . . .

    • Dirk? No. No they won’t. Never have and never will. They want to do the same sh*t. Lawyer scum is lawyer scum.

  10. The whole “gun walking,” debacle of the ATF sending boom stocks down Mexico way started with Operation Wide Reciever. In 2006. During Bush II’s reign…

Read up on it. It was handled even more piss poorly than Fast and Furious…

    • All officials from any party that violated the law and the constitution should live in fear that they will have a day of reckoning. Even if that day is symbolic. Reagan is dead. If he’s found to have committed these acts then shame and tarnish his legacy.

Any that are still alive when the day comes should have to go to prison. Even if they’re old and long retired.

    • Really? How many dead bodies were attributed to Operation Wide Receiver?

How many RFID chips were planted in the F&F guns?

Wide Receiver tried to trace about 300 guns. How many of the 2000+ F&F guns did the ATF try to trace?

      Bueller? Bueller?

      • Don’t get me wrong Holder needs to held accountable for F&F- it was a dumb idea that cost lives in both sides of the border.

And Wide Reciver makes F&F all the more idiotic… It failed spectacularly! Why continue a failed operation from a previous regime?

    • Operation WR is only brought up by Leftist suckers of Obama. WR had tracking, notification, and a honest objective regardless of how flawed its execution. In contrast operation F&F had no tracking, deception of Mexico, and an objective to dismantle the 2nd amendment. Now go collect your nickel from Soros.

    • The difference? The MEXICAN government was in on the deal and cooperated fully. Once they saw that the tracking could not be done the program was discontinued. Nice try though. Anything else you want to try to pin on Mr. Bush?

    • No, jonnie, under W they at least arrested the criminals, once Eric”C*ck”Holder got in place that all ended. I remember Democrats screeching about how racist it was to arrest and jail people for illegally buying and selling guns. Several Republicans joined in on that.
