She had won a free tune up service from a local bike shop, and brought her POS Walmart bike in for the shop owner to tune up in preparation for her ride. She was demanding, bitchy, and rude.

I just hope this MDA group does not get as much traction as the Women’s Christian Temperance Union did and we get a new Volstead Act. MDA would call it the T. Martin Act, Newtown Act or Save Chicago Act. Regardless, the MDA needs to focus on the War on Drugs, poverty, and a list of other factors that cause gun violence.
This might be good advice IF their aim was actually to stop gun violence. Since their goal is not to stop the violence, but to take away the guns, directing their efforts at the causes of violence rather than at taking away guns would be counterproductive.
She is a useful idiot of the progressives and their goal is civilian disarmament so that they can consolidate their political power. They have no interest in and their policies will never result in the end of gun violence because if they have their way it will always result in the government using guns against the citizens.
It appears she and her group are targeting “open carry” in their crusade first and you can bet if they were ever to get that outlawed, banned etc., the ccw license holders would be next. It is straight out of the old HCI (Hand Gun Control Inc) playbook.

One thing about MDA is that they are not even pretending to be merely for gun control. Their agenda, as I recall seeing it once, includes rolling back carrying laws and reinterpreting the 2nd Amendment. They think big, perhaps bigger than some more established gun-control organizations, and, just in case, they should not be underestimated.

Never dismiss an avowed enemy, particularly one with such a Draconian long-term agenda as MDA has. They are never sufficiently weak until they are dissolved. MDA still can get MSM attention and reportage while pro-Second Amendment groups get virtually nothing except negative attention and vilification.
