“Hillary Clinton has been a national leader on gun violence prevention for decades. More than any candidate on either side of the aisle, she has the experience, record, and demonstrated commitment to help reach the Brady Campaign’s goal of cutting gun deaths in half by 2025.” – Brady Campaign president Dan Gross in Pro-gun control Brady Campaign to endorse Hillary Clinton [at cnn.com]

  1. “Hillary Clinton has been a national leader on gun violence prevention for decades. More than any candidate on either side of the aisle, she has the experience, record, and demonstrated commitment to help reach the Brady Campaign’s goal of cutting gun rights in half by 2025.” –

There fixed it for you Dan

    • You might want to also change “gun violence prevention” to “gun confiscation” or something….

    • Hillary will be indicted in order to make room for Moochelle. The Obamas will claim they let the process play out without interference. Moochelle will step up because there is nobody else that can hit the ground running. Their fundraising and campaign organization is still largely intact.

    • Cutting gun deaths in half? Ewww. I mean, they’re already dead. do you have to defile the corpse as well?

      Oh…wait one…

  2. Yawn. What are the gun control groups going to do? Most Republicans are pro gun rights or will at least feign it (Christie, Trump, Bush), so throw all them out. Now your left with 3 Democrats. Mr. Cellophane (O’Malley), enough said. That leaves Ovary Clinton and Grandpa Bernie. Ovary is the obvious choice since Grandpa Bernie hasn’t brought himself to full convert to the Church of Gun Control.

    • You know, when you say things like “Ovary Clinton”, implying ovaries (and women) are bad, all you do is reinforce the stereotype of gun owners as small minded sexists. Way to set the gun rights movement back a few decades.

  3. “…national leader in gun violence prevention for decades…”
I think that Vince Foster and some people who were in Benghazi would have different opinions, but you need a ouija board to get those opinions.

    • Hitching the horse to Hillary’s disarmament wagon. Waiting for her to say if you want your guns you can keep them.

  4. Boy that makes you sick to your stomachDo you have to wake up to that in the morning, The picture alone is enough to make my gag reflex activate! Boy what a waste of human space that woman is!

  5. You know I was really on the fence about Hilliary until I found out she picked up this endorsement. Now I know for certain she is actually the candidate for president that I would like to have a piano dropped on.

      • They already dropped a house on her sister.

Getting houses high enough to drop is hard enough in the first place, trying to get a second house is going to be a bit much.

Pianos, on the other hand….. If you think it necessary we could probably get an anvil or two to drop on top of the piano. You know, just in case.

        • Guys…guys..why go thru all that trouble, when a simple bucket of water, would get the same results?

  6. “It’s time to have a woman as president”.

Yep, sexism is perfectly fine, just like racism is perfectly fine, to fill the most powerful position in the world, as long as it’s the politically correct sex and race.

To bad that M.L.K’s dream of a world where people are judged by their character rather than their skin color or gender still is only a dream.

    • It’s fitting that the likely soon to be indicted HRC would be the Brady Campaign’s chosen candidate for POTUS in 2016.

Revives sweet memories of the anti-gun industry’s support for rabidly anti-gun CA State Senator Leland Yee before his public corruption and gun trafficking charges; ultimately plead over to a felony racketeering count. He’s facing up to 20 years when sentenced in February 2016.

Only icing on the cake missing in Hillary’s case is a connection with gun trafficking – or maybe one just hasn’t been discovered yet, what with her being involved with SO MUCH contemptible activity.

But it will do that Clinton is likely facing charges for failure to safeguard state secrets, and public corruption for using her position at State to benefit her family foundation and/or her husband’s speaking engagements.

When I heard that announcement by the Brady Campaign I was instantly reminded of Leland Yee’s corruption. These anti-gun people are so contemptible and corrupt themselves it hardly comes as a surprise at all.

  7. She’s really trying to use guns as the only thing she might have advantage with over Sanders in the primary…

  8. “Hillary Clinton has been a national leader on gun violence prevention for decades.”

…has been a national leader on gun confiscation…

…has been a national leader on subjugating the American people…

    …has been a national leader on corruption…

    …has been a national leader on hypocrisy…

    And I can go on…

  9. Mathematically, to “cut gun deaths by half,” you would have to dramatically reduce the number of suicides by gun.

    I don’t see that happening.

    • Our suicide rate is lower than a lot of European countries with strict gun laws. Funny how they never mention our lower rate to those countries. People that want to off themselves find a way.

    • You’re just not enough of a visionary. If all guns were confiscated, that would probably cut gun deaths in half.

Suicide – by gun – would go down by 90% or so and murders committed with a gun by gangs and such would go up 40%; A net change of down 50%

The total death rate would however go up.

There is a saying in industry: “You get what you measure.” If you are shortsighted or ignorant enough, by measuring the wrong thing, you can get the exact opposite of what a thoughtful person would want.

  10. I’m guessing Sanders came in a close 2nd. BTW this is exactly what I said his position would be, the closer the election gets. Anybody who thinks Bernie would treat the gun issue the same as he did in VT is in deep denial.

  11. My question is how does the Brady Campain expect to cut “gun deaths” in half. They can possibly expect to do it with background checks. Most “gun deaths” are suicide. How is a background check stop half of them. As for criminal use, do they even think for a moment that universal background checks will even put a small dent in it. Let’s be honest. They only way to do that is make all handguns illegal and make everyone turn them in. Then they will have to wait decades for the handguns in criminal hands to be reduced by attrition. I personally think is should take about 30-50 years with no real reduction in the murder rate itself.

    • Total confiscation is what they want. That would cut suicides by gun.

Then maybe our suicide rate would be as low as Japan!

  12. Is this surprising anyone?

Because, if so, I have another Earth shaker for you… There is no Santa and rabbits don’t lay eggs.

  13. Wow, thanks Brady Campaign! I’ve been having trouble reaching my personal goals – I never thought of how much easier it would be just setting goals that reach themselves, instead!

  14. The largest payoff to reduce gun deaths is to make middle aged white males want to kill themselves less! However, the agenda really is to remove guns not make this group happier. Remove guns and suicides will shift to another tool, or an illegal gun instead.

  15. It’s too bad that Jim and Sarah Brady didn’t die in Chicago where they could vote for Hillary posthumously.

  16. “…she has the experience, record, and demonstrated commitment to help reach the Brady Campaign’s goal of cutting gun deaths in half by 2025…”

All the victims in Benghazi died by drowning, didn’t they?
