  1. treading water. is that doublespeak for “we don’t know what the hell to do”. for those of you that live in chicago, it’s time for a regime change.

    • Lmao!
Yeah pretty much my thoughts too. They just can’t admit the defiance of SCOTUS and more laws aren’t working.

  2. Well, they’ve lost the war, I just wanna see how bad it gets before the police force and gov’t cries out for military support.

  3. Well, they’ve lost the war, I just wanna see how bad it gets before the police force and gov’t of Gangcago starts collapsing and calls out for martial law.

  4. Drugs are being kept illegal and the federal government has agreed to look the other way for the cartels to bring in their drugs provided they join in the US side in the Mexican civil war of which Eric Holder is the Lord of War shipping weapons south into Mexico. Ok, I get it.

    • Street gang violence has been a part of Chicago since the 1960s when the drug trades was controled by guys whose names ended in vowels. The drug wars started after the Feds broke the monopoly power of the Mafia and opened up the trade to new actors. The new guys on the block fought bloody wars for turf and supremcy. Those wars are largely over which is why the murder rate has come down over the last 20 years. What you see in Chicago and in other large cities controled by the Democrats is tribal violence that has a life of its own. People want a rational explanation for the violence but there isn’t one. Chicago has become like the Balkans or the Middle East tribes fighting because their father fought.

  5. Just have Superintendant McCarthy ask NYC Mayor Bloomie and Police Commish Kelly for the “answer”. Which is: under-report or outright falsify your police reports so that you too can have “the safest big city in the country”.

    • there you go. instead of banning guns, which ain’t working. ban the media from reporting the crimes. it didn’t happen if it ain’t on the news.

  6. 29 feet under water, last air bubble floating to the surface, face already turned blue. Hmmmm. Yep still treading water!!!
    (Sarcasm off now).
Too bad they will probably never figure out the Real Cure for their problems.

  7. Reality is your friend Superintendent McCarthy, why do you fight so hard and long against the fact the more armed citizens you’d have the lesser the crime rates would be.

  8. As long as the gangs are only killing each other, the city is winning. It’s just that the authorities don’t want to claim gang deaths as victories — bad PR, y’know — unless it’s the Chicago PD that’s doing the killing.
