“Here’s where the weapons ended, there’s the data. Zastava cannot be blamed for where it went afterward. Wherever there are wars, there are bigger possibilities for abuse and to hide the channels for guns (and) they end up where they shouldn’t.” – Zastava owner Milojko Brzakovic in Gun linked to Paris attacks traced back to Florida arms dealer implicated in Iran-Contra scandal [at rawstory.com]
Dead/wounded number probably would of been much higher if they used something with a stock on it.
Especially if it was a folding stock. I hear those are super-duper dangerous on guns.
And I’m sure Raw Story totally got permission to steal that picture from Atlantic Firearms.
Pfht. It’s Raw Story. It’s a safe bet they made the entire thing up.
so an east Europe made weapon transited through America at some point and went back to eastern Europe and some numbnuts will try to blame the NRA because the American businessman did not use his psychic ability to predict the future user somewhere would be a terrorist so I can’t own a 10-22.
Yes, it’s for us children* you know!
*By children we mean people no older than their 20’s
Yeah, the government does love treating people who are legally supposed to be adults like children.
18- can buy a long gun, but handguns are super dangerous and you can’t handle the murder death kill contraptions. You can’t carry a weapon, because, though you’re responsible enough to drive a 2-3 ton machine at 70 mph, you would probably kill a bunch of people and yourself with a firearm.
I live 5 minutes from Century Arms and have bought a few of their imported guns.
What difference does it make how or why it ended up back in Europe then here again??
Who cares?? No one but a news media looking to make a story out of nothing important.
What are the chances this was one of the Fast and Furious guns?
From article”Century Arms sells to individuals or other businesses with a federal firearms license, and its website directs most retail traffic to a network of dealers.
But there are no restrictions on who can obtain those licenses.”. Hey guys the media just gave us all FFL’s!
Sorry didn’t mean this as a reply, my reply to what you said was more likely it was arms provided to freedom fighters in the middle east thanguns provided to Mexican Drug cartels.
You mean “Freedom Fighters” in Syria I think, not freedom fighters without quotes. Or more plainly is this the literal smoking gun that will lead to the Obama Admin being outed for arming ISIS?
Obama has supervised tens of billions of US dollars in advanced weaponry (at least advanced beyond the 10th century) being delivered to medieval killers. When is someone going to demand an answer to the obvious question, “WHY?”
‘…more likely it was arms provided to freedom fighters in the middle east than guns provided to Mexican Drug cartels.’
Probably used a US ambassador to pass them off to terrorists in Benghazi.
Given the dealer that sold them initially was directly implicated in Iran-Contra, about 100%.
Exactly my first thought.
Now, tell me WHAT WAS HILLARY DOING IN Benghazi anyway?
Speaking of Fast and Furious, does anybody remember the
propaganda the Justice Department or was it the ATF
about the so-called “River of Iron”, meaning all the guns
that were being illegally smuggled into Mexico?
What a line of crap.
I guess they are going to say that “River of Iron” going to Mexico got
diverted to Paris, France.
I seem to vaguely recall that some Hillary emails appeared describe a certain Sid Blumenthal working with a (Floridian?) domestic gun dealer/exporter to provide arms to Ukraine & Syria rebels, to be compensated with ‘sanitized’ State Deparment funds (suggesting the weapons would be similarly sanitized, or similar to others in the conflict). Supposedly they were never green-lighted by the O, and nothing came of it…
Because stuff like THIS never happens:

Fast and Furious, The Prequel.
What’s up with the woman who lived next to the Century Arms factory and had no idea they dealt in weapons? What did she think they made, prosthetic limbs?
that place in Delray is not a factory, it is really just a small office without any firearms or ammo. I think sales/accounting. Century has a factory and warehouses but they are in other states, not FL, afaik
Yeah, I’m pretty sure the factory is in Georgia.
A bunch of morons over in the comments section there at raw story.
Was it semi-auto or full auto when used in Paris? How was it shipped from Century Arms?
I bet it ever even made it to the US, but someone at Zastava managed to get it listed as exported.
Given that Zastava is major exporter of firearms to the US, I wouldn’t be surprised to see them targeted by another import EO for this.
Mexico has a lot of guns that can trace back to the US as well, thanks to Obama and Holder.
(Oh, and let’s not forget all the MANPADs in the hands of various Middle Easterners that can also trace back to the US, thanks to Obama.)
Sadly we now know these work just fine-I’ve heard bad about these. Maybe do a review on Century…
My SBR M92 works just fine and is very accurate out to long ranges for such a short barrel, especially with micro dot mounted to the dust cover hinge plate.
Worst I have seen is some have a canted rear sight, which can be fixed with a hammer since it’s stamped 2mm sheet steel for the sight body.
You also want to keep the original FCG if possible, they do not agree with the Tapco G2 FCG. The original FCG is a very nice 2 stage once polished up.
So they got the big bad gun at the Indy Gun Show? We just have to have badly needed gun control legislation to close the gun show loophole.
I saw this from another source in the past few days, a Serbian one IIRC, and they stated it was converted to full auto after purchase. I’d bet a stock was added too if that is the case.
From the story I learned;
1) it was only a pistol (m92)
2) Zastava and Century enjoy some kind of immunity from our gov.
3.)A gun spent decades in America without killing anyone, then went to europe and got radicalized.
4)This means frenchies can have more peace rallies where they blame us instead of the terrorists.
So, because that Houston plumber’s Toyota truck ended up in Syria as an ISIS technical (with a sweet 30mm AA gun) after he sold it to a dealer who export vehicles to Mexico, we need to ban all international commerce in work trucks, right?
Breaking: The cotton used in some Syrian hijab, traced to a cotton grower in Egypt……!
“Century Arms sells to individuals or other businesses with a federal firearms license, and its website directs most retail traffic to a network of dealers.
But there are no restrictions on who can obtain those licenses.”
PPPPPPPPPPPPFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFTTTTTTTTTTT HAHAHHAHHA OH GOD THEY’RE SERIOUS
Correction: M92 in question made it to Mexico and confiscated.
