en.terra.com reports that Rapper T.I. (a.k.a. Clifford Joseph Harris Jr.) “avoids clubs because he’s not down with having people around him be armed while he has nothing to defend himself with.” That’s down to T.I.’s conviction on felony weapons charges, which landed him a nine-month prison stretch. Methinks T.I. was set-up. As Wikipedia tells it “T.I. was arrested after allegedly trying to purchase the guns from a ‘cooperating witness’ with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. According to federal officials, the witness had been cooperating with authorities a few days prior to the T.I. arrest, when the cooperating witness was arrested on charges of trying to purchase guns from a federal agent. The witness had been working as T.I.’s bodyguard since July, authorities said.” And now?

I’m more comfortable knowing there’s one around – but not having one myself, being used to having one for so long and being in places and around people that I know got ’em, I’m just uncomfortable. So I stay out of that environment as much as possible.

If only T.I. had followed his own advice before he knew what advise he should have followed.
