We’re going to close down the voting after midnight tonight, so if you haven’t made your preferences known please do so now. We’ll tally up the results over the weekend, and then present actual awards (you know, the physical kind, with plaques) to the winners at the SHOT Show. You only get one vote, so make it count!

      • I guess that qualifies as gun porn. If it were my Colt it would be kept in a safety deposit box & brought out only for special occasions. Meanwhile I’ll keep blasting away with my WWII Remington M1911A1 parkerized.

        • Gun porn FOR SURE! Thanks again to Beetle for those great write-ups and photos. They are and will continue to be tagged in the “Historical” category on TTAG here for folks who want to find them easily in the future.

  1. I went to check out the voting and realized I knew nothing about moost of the rifles, shotguns, or handguns. So I didn’t vote.

Wish the people in every political election thought like I did. I’m sick of idiots who don’t even know who’s running being able to vote.

    • What’s the matter with you? It’s your solemn duty to vote regardless of level of knowledge, political engagement, or forethought–it’s what keeps democracy running.

Otherwise, imagine the chaos if a bunch of random, unqualified goobers just got elected to be our political class again and again.

  2. Attempted to vote: “click here to start” > “let’s try again” > “click here to start” > repetition occurred. You might want to check compatibility with Safari browser.

    • Same thing here with Firefox browser, no big thing, was just going to check it out. Congratulations to whoever wins. (have set to allow cookies on sites, but no third party cookies, delete on closing browser).

    • A shameful omission! TTAG is quite outspoken when it comes to opinion on persons who preserve and those who infringe the right to keep and bear arms. I would like POTG/AI/TTAG readership to honor a champion of our cause and give a dubious distinction to an opponent.
