In the video below, TTAG writer, former IDF sniper and Tactical Fitness Austin Krav Maga gun guru Ron Grobman splits my old business card at five yards or so shooting a Wilson Combat modified GLOCK 19. And it was only our third take!
I’ll be reviewing the handy WC GLOCK soon. Suffice it to say, it’s a GLOCK Jim, and mostly as we know it. But dammit Scotty, I’m a blogger not a sharp shooter! Then again, Ron’s no Kirsten Joy Weiss. And that’s all her lawyers will let me say about that.
Five yards, huh? 🤠
Reminds me of how much I hate indoor “lane” ranges. Here in MN, I prefer to freeze my ass off this time of year.
What mods does Wilson Combat do to accurize a G19 ? And how many thousand dollars does it cost ?
They melt the plastic and use it to make grips for a 1911. Best mod ever done to a Gock

So, was it the gun, or the shooter…??? One or the other has to be the dominant factor…
I like KTM’s but not Gocks, so it’s not a racial thing

What?
RF wasn’t holding the card when Ron split it?
Pftttpt.
(I know what you mean, APM. Mid-70s F here today. Brrrrrrr…)
Ha! try 28 F and snowing. Winter is just kicking off too.
At 5 yards this is not overly challenging even with a stock glock
I was thinking “I can do that, especially in 3 tries, with my .45ACP M1911, and my tired old eyes”. 20 years ago I could have done it in one try with a .177 air pistol, one handed.
But did he do the turtle face thing….?
I’m gonna hold out for the $4,000 “Wilson Combat Upgraded” Makarov.
