I stopped by the Ruger booth to pass along questions about possible new products, such as Officer and Commander versions of their SR1911.  Alas and alack, the answer is simple.  No comment.  Not a nudge, nudge, wink, wink no comment, but a “we are a publicly traded company and don’t want to attract a sh*tstorm from the Feds” no comment.   Seldom have I been told “no” in a more genial fashion.

  1. I really like the unattended child reaching for “his father’s gun”. I’ll be looking for this image reposted under a new title on the Huffington Post.

I mean no disrespect, I just occasionally question your choice of images. Great Blog by the way, Keep it up.

    • I was sort of like that when I was that little kids age. And so Dad or Grandfather would take the gun out of the rack and show it to me and go over how it works and that one had to be very careful with it.

  2. We need to hurry up and develop the software and hardware ie the tools and machine to custom build our own weapons. The heck with gun makers.
