Apparently unable to get a job making anything approaching a real movie any more, Sharon Stone’s bringing home a few extra euros by, er, acting in a stylish short for a French magazine, Frenchrevue. You know it’s stylish because it’s directed by someone named Thierry and it’s filmed in black and white. Anyone quibbling that the first scene is an obvious Pulp Fiction homage ripoff or that none of the action has any real flow or makes much sense is hopelessly jejune. This is French cinema, people. Anyway, in an early review, Jade Watkins at dailymail.co.uk is positively ga-ga over Sharon’s tour de force portrayal of the “bad girl vixen” and the “massive machine guns” she uses to great effect. Who knew the English were so easily impressed?

  1. Last I heard about ST was from a friend of mine. He saw her sitting in a cafe in San Francisco’s Marina District looking really depressed.

  2. Waving guns around is a movie now? I realize guns just look cool – observe half the movie posters out there – but this is hardly art. Any high school student with a couple of Airsoft replicas could make this. And many do.

    • Actually the high school airsoft films are usually better!!! What a load of garbage. There is seriously nothing about this film I find inviting at all, period! I have seen many art films, but this doesn’t even qualify as that.
I had a nice sandwich for lunch but threw it in the garbage after seeing this waste of celluloid!!!!
Sharon Stone should be utterly disgraced and embarrassed with being anywhere near this film, if you can call it that.
I give this film two thumbs down, and three barf bags!

  3. After 1 minute it seemed so utterly pointless and bereft of any narrative that I stopped watching. If anyone makes it to the end and there’s some great payoff let me know and I’ll revisit. Maybe.

  4. So that is an art film? Hmmmm, the stroboscopic style of editing gave me a headache, thankfully I watched it with out sound, I think any sound track would have induced projectile vomiting. All I know is I want that 3:49 back to use for something else.

  5. “Big” guns? Machineguns… more like sub machineguns.

If that’s the author’s definition of big I’d love to see what she’d call a Nagant, M14, or any full-size battle rifle.

  6. The end of the acting road is a rough one for some people. The smart ones bank the millions they make and use good financial planners, stay away from drugs and frivolous investments in restaurants, real estate or other ventures full of vultures.
Sharon’s no spring chicken any longer and she’s not getting a 20 million dollar gig any time soon.

  7. I didn’t finish the video because I inadvertently scrolled over that dang John Deere advert which locked up my screen. That ad is becoming very annoying.

Interesting rendition of “Kashmir” for the soundtrack.

  8. Mindless, artless gar-bahj. Melville and Truffaut se roulent dans leurs tombes. Not to mention Jimmy Page.

  9. A mini Uzi and an M11-9 with the stock folded wrong. I’m deeply impressed. The cutout credits are real cool too. (lol)

Looks like Pulp Fiction + Matrix = Flop.
