The jihad against “assault rifles” violates the Second Amendment’s prohibition against infringement on Americans’ natural and civil right to keep and bear arms. It does nothing to prevent carnage, whether on the street or during a spree killing. In fact, law-abiding Americans who are proficient with a rifle are a bulwark against both criminal predation and tyranny. And shooting rifles — in this case four Savage MSRs — is a boatload of fun. What’s not to like?

  2. Went out to the range with my own Savage MSR 15 Recon today. Topped with a Vortex 1-8×24, it’s a great rifle!

      • The glass is bright and clear. Reticle easy to use. The zoom ring is a bit tight and could use a lever. Can’t beat the Vortex service.
