People are always offering me gats for sale. Sometimes they are flocks and sometimes, gems like that Sako. The guy set the price for what he paid for it back in the ’80’s.
How can a guy pass that up
That style of stock gives me a semi chub.
.357 magnum has a lot going for it. It is a great revolver round, and a pretty respectable rifle/carbine round as well. On the other hand, the .44 magnum does it all even better (except practical work in carry snubbies).
My dream compact rifle is a stainless lever-action in .44 mag.
Should be enough for taking out even the peskiest politician, er, I mean ‘wild game’… 🙂
Why so much love for Hornady handgun ammo? I once was on the Hornady train but when I heard about Federal HST, all my Hornady ammo moved to the “shtf probably never going to use stash.” Especially out of sorter barreled pistols HST has the advantage.
Because Hornady is on the shelf when there’s no HST to be found and it’s generally 20% cheaper.
HST are easy to find if you look and they are only $26 per box of 50 +s&h.
That Sako .375 mag is one purtty rifle.

I recently found 147gr XTP bullet heads on sale for 11.00 per 100 online. I ordered 5 boxes. I should have ordered double.
