From the CCRKBA . . .
President Joe Biden’s new executive order on guns won’t reduce gun-related violent crime, nor will it make our communities safer, the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms said today.
Biden signed the executive order Tuesday in Monterey Park, California. He is bypassing Congress, “with the goal of increasing the number of background checks conducted before firearm sales,” and moving the country closer to so-called “universal background checks” as possible without additional legislation.
“Joe Biden is trying to sell this new gun control scheme the way he’s always done, by promising less violent crime and safer neighborhoods,” said CCRKBA Chairman Alan Gottlieb, “but this plan isn’t going to accomplish either goal, and he knows it. This sleight-of-hand maneuver simply makes it more difficult for law-abiding citizens to purchase firearms, while creating the impression gun dealers are crooks and the industry is unregulated.
“This is just another chapter in Joe Biden’s war on gun rights,” he continued. “It is a diversion to the Democrat failure to keep Americans safe from violent criminals who are released without bail and are free to prey on us all.”
Biden will encourage the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) “to issue a public report analyzing how gun manufacturers market firearms to minors and how such manufacturers market firearms to all civilians, including through the use of military imagery.” He will “Provide the public and policymakers with more information regarding federally licensed firearms dealers who are violating the law.” He will also direct the Secretary of Defense to develop and implement principles to further firearm and public safety practices through Department of Defense acquisition of firearms, consistent with applicable law.
“So,” Gottlieb observed, “Biden wants the Defense Department to buy more guns, he will blame crime on gun dealers and tell gun makers how to market their products. But he won’t tell the Justice Department to crack down on recidivist criminals, he’s not asking the courts to lock up armed felons and he’s continuing to treat the Second Amendment as a second-class right.
“Biden has always had an anti-gun agenda,” he added, “and on this important constitutional issue, he has never let the courts, public opinion or the Bill of Rights get in his way.”
“This is textbook Joe Biden,” Gottlieb concluded. “Talk tough, make it appear he’s doing something about crime when he really isn’t, and ultimately just continue penalizing law-abiding gun owners for crimes they didn’t commit. The only people who will be any safer are the criminals who ignore gun control laws already.”
Join the gun ban club. In Canada our Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is fighting to have a bill that will eventually allow the police to confiscate our guns. It has been proven that removing guns from the private citizen will not reduce gun crime.
Give them up and you will never get them back.
I will NEVER believe Biden got 81 million votes from the basement.
To your point the other side of the coin what if Biden did get 81 million votes?
Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn “We didn’t love freedom enough.”
They worked the printer to near breaking point.
Time to put them into hiding along with the ammo where they won’t be found! It’s coming to that point now!
If you are looking at hiding your guns you have already lost, ask yourself these questions:
Is firearms ownership an issues of freedom for you?
Is this freedom worth fighting for?
Is this freedom worth killing for?
Is this freedom worth dying for?
You’ve first got to have a Freedom worth dying for.
Things continue apace and you’ll have lost before you think of hiding your guns or using them.
You’ll turn them in for some FedCoin to be deposited in a wallet on your phone. And if you’re tough and resilient, that’s OK, they’ll find someone who isn’t and put pressure there. You’ll bend the knee or be isolated and eliminated.
The fact that no one in the 2A community talks about this is, to me, simply yet more evidence that the 2A community is mostly not paying attention to anything but the shiny objects they’re supposed to be paying attention to.
Your enemy’s greatest strength is the ignorance of your allies.
dispersing and hiding your guns is just simple prudence…keeping them all in one place just makes it easy to disarm you…don’t allow that to happen…
@strych9 None, zip, zero, nada, zilch, not a single waste of skin that represents me in Congress will respond to phone calls, emails, or letters about digital currency. Tells me everything I need to know.
@Jeffro:
Of course they won’t. Most of them are septua/octogenarians who don’t know WTF you’re talking about and the vast majority of the rest are behind it because controlling the plebs appeals to them.
If you actually stop and think about how such a coin could be made to function as a currency, it’s terrifying. Mixing some attributes of ETH with Doge with Algorand and you’ve got the most potent social control tool ever created.
Now create some tiers. Basic FedCoin and Luxury FedCoin. Gas, vacations, meat or anything else they don’t want you to have is Luxury and you have to be a good doggy to earn them. Guns are legal but you can’t buy them or ammo or parts or accessories because there’s no tier for that. Oh, also your currency is geofenced.
Take that Algorand concept, throw a negative sign in front of it and you’ve got fine control over “velocity” of the currency and no one who’s not connected can ever buy anything bigger than a grocery cart’s worth of food (maybe, if that).
Take BTC’s blockchain but make it private and you can print or destroy tokens at will and no one can ever audit the system.
Run that for five years and you’ve got every retiree’s assets in YOUR pocket (or that of your cronies) and complete social control over everyone else.
The only real question is how you get people to adopt it. How much you wanna bet, based on the bank tests of last year, that the first targets are SS/Medicare/SSDI/SNAP/WIC etc?
Combine the retirees and the welfare folks as a voting cohort and you’ll probably take over pretty quick. And your average Conservative is totally fuckin’ clueless about this entire topic.
@Strych9
You have stated clearly that which is frightening and likely unavoidable. It’s gonna get down to the short hairs before the majority wake up to this, and by then it will be too late.
There will be some of us who will resist. It will end in a glorious defeat. Yet, those of us who do resist, will die free men.
@Jeffro:
I’m not so sure about that particular outcome but the overall schema you’re discussing is why I don’t call myself a “Conservative”.
IMHO, that’s just another word for “anti-Leftist” which is code for “another flavor of complete and utter moron”.
Well as long as half the people in the country are dumb enough to believe it………
Biden doesn’t care about effective steps that would actually result in lessening violent crime because that would involve holding to account minority criminals that Democrats believe are the true victims of a (fictional) white supremacist society.
Instead, Biden lives in his own made up world where gun manufacturers and ordinary, law abiding people who own guns are the real bad guys.
The guy is an ignorant, arrogant, hate filled bigot. It’s astounding that such an evil POS has so much power…and gets away with abusing it.
He has the same amount of power as a marionette.
The ones with the power are the string pullers and TelePromTer programmers. And Jill decides what the ice cream flavor of the day is, and when he needs his Depends changed.
Meanwhile Jim Crow Gun Control democRat joe enjoys armed security and has weapons Gun Owners don’t stand a chance against…he said so.
Don’t worry mitch mcconnell will save us from the tyranical democRats…Not.

“investigation into the Biden family’s influence peddling operation is heating up.
We now have financial records showing Biden family members receiving money from CCP connected individuals.”
(note: CCP = Chinese Communist Party)
but…. most presidents are corrupt in some aspect. However, Biden is the one in office right now and he is the one claiming, basically, to be all ‘virtuous’ in his quest to remove constitutional rights from, and weaponize the government against, American citizens and he took money from the CCP for his influence. I wonder now about those classified documents he had access too, some of these people fronting for the CCP who channeled the money to him were Chinese Intelligence.
But time will tell, hopefully.
The fascist left are going to throw the biden crime family to the dogs. It gets an embarrassment out of the way and allows them to claim the 1st woman prez.
Watch how quickly miner turns on biden once his masters give him the go ahead.
Miner and lil’d already have their scripts prepared for when they get the go ahead.
According to the ATF 700 million guns in circulation.
We don’t know how many of the 100+ million gun owners will resist by force.
I will not go silently into the night. I will not comply with registration or voluntarily surrender my guns.
Had Biden got to Vietnam like the rest of us he would know what a man with a rifle can do.
Or a woman with a hoe.
non-compliance would seem to be the way to go while we wait for our advocates to have their day in court….
Joe Biden was an idiot before he was a POS.
Joe Biden was a POS before he was elected to the Senate.
Joe Biden was corrupt before he became VP.
Joe Biden was senile before he became President.
Joe Biden is our idiot POS corrupt senile embarrassment of a President, God help us!
Rusty don’t hold back tell us how you really feel about the prez.
notice I did not say our prez because ……
reasons
I will call one of them “our President” when by word and deed he fully supports all the Bill of Rights. No modern occupant of the White House ever has.
Frankly, mista prezident, I don’t give a damn.
“I am free, no matter what rules surround me. If I find them tolerable, I tolerate them; if I find them too obnoxious, I break them. I am free because I know that I alone am morally responsible for everything I do.” Heilein.

It was worth repeating…
Unintentional. Misspelled the authors name, and NO EDIT BUTTON ON THIS SITE!
I saw that. If you click on save my name and email it will give you a couple of minutes to edit. And gunny it was worth repeating.
“He will also direct the Secretary of Defense to develop and implement principles to further firearm and public safety practices through Department of Defense acquisition of firearms, consistent with applicable law.
‘So,’ Gottlieb observed, ‘Biden wants the Defense Department to buy more guns, he will blame crime on gun dealers and tell gun makers how to market their products. Hmmm no, that’s not what Biden wants. Biden’s order said “through Department of Defense acquisition of firearms”
Think about it. How in the world does the DoD develop and implement principles to further firearm and PUBLIC safety practices by buying firearms for the DoD?
DoD “acquisition” of firearms by confiscating them from the public which would, according to that implied by Biden’s goals and his false logic lies and rhetoric “further firearm and PUBLIC safety practices”
(yes, it sounds conspiracy like and i’m not a conspiracy type of person but I’ve seen how the anti-gun mind works many times and had many run ins with it in person and this is the types of logic and thought processes they use. But remember, Biden already tried confiscation before in a different aspect by attacking the fourth amendment in Caniglia v. Strom at SCOTUS. Biden wanted the ‘community care taking’ exception to the fourth to be applied in that case because in that case without legally justified warrant or cause the police took Caniglia and his guns. SCOTUS ruled for Caniglia and upheld the fourth. Had Biden succeeded there the government would be able to simply enter a persons home claiming ‘a health emergency’ simply because Biden had declared guns presence to be a ‘public health emergency’ as he was claiming around the time of Caniglia thus confiscation).
Reads to me much more a threat to have DoD only purchase firearms from manufacturers who adopt whatever absurd collection of “voluntary” restrictions Bloomberg, Brady, Giffords, etc. dream up to supposedly make communities safer. Similar approach to the Clinton plan to force “voluntary” compliance via lawsuits, but here using threat of DoD boycott rather than harassment by frivolous litigation.
various branches of the military have been known to “lose” weapons…..
Ban whatever you want. Come on out here and search for whatever. Bring your dogs and metal detectors. There is a square mile of land I own and several hundred acres of forest land next to my land. The land has been farmed for nearly 200 years. I find bits of old machinery and mule or horse shoes very time I till the ground. There is a couple tons of scrap steel behind my blacksmith shop. Good luck finding what doesn’t exist or was lost in a tragic boating accident.
I have a couple bolt action rifles in the scary calibers used by the dreaded black rifles. So I have ammunition for them.
Now, please prove up on how any of Biden’s foolishness will do anything to prevent anyone with criminal intent from arming themselves as they see fit. Please show us how any ban, restriction, permit scheme, background check, or license scheme will force those of criminal intent to give up their weapons or somehow keep the same people from importing more through Mexico or any major shipping port.
…the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) “to issue a public report analyzing how gun manufacturers market firearms to minors and how such manufacturers market firearms to all civilians, including through the use of military imagery…”
Translation: They’re going to try regulate media companies via this EO, especially where those media companies are “involved” with the government.
Movies and video games have active duty military and other .gov “consultants”, remember?
Weaponize that connection and you can make a pro-military movie like Act of Valor (2012) or maybe you get There’s no Saving Ryan’s Privates: The 44th Medical Brigade in Action (2024) promoting TQIAA+ stuff in the military.
With the current recruiting issues they would probably not push too much agenda for anti 2nd or they would alienate competent recruits they need for combat arms which is one of the most deficient segments for some reason……….. But yes I would imagine they need Russia/China fodder for saber rattling and/or backstopping proxy wars and they aren’t even close to numbers.
Anyone signing up for service after the mandated shots is 1. stupid 2. not conservative and 3. deserves whatever they get.
It’s nearly unbelievable to me that there’s still a debate about the safety of those things. But then I can read the micro and molecular journals and understand them which the media folk can’t. And this isn’t helped by Conservatives who are mostly right but don’t know why and say dumb shit because they can’t understand the concept of an increase off the baseline vs a rate.
For me it was just remembering how well animal testing of gene therapy/insertion went re lifespan back in the 90’s and then checking to see if it ever made it past ferrets outside of Right to Try kind of situations. Seeing what companies got the distribution rights was a bonus nope.
That depends on the gene therapy in question.
There are a couple for various forms of Muscular Dystrophy that are smashing successes.
In this instance, the tech in question was originally meant to do one of two things: provide a protein you needed but didn’t make/make correctly or target cancer for destruction.
Both are genius. Using it as a prophylactic for a communicable disease is batshit crazy on several levels and comes from early 2000’s theoretical work on biowarfare.
Everything they told the public about the components/action of the components in this instance was a lie. Not a mistake, a lie.
Well damn was accidentally on the right thought process then. Good thing I generally distrust anything “free” from the government or thier corporate arms as well.

How can you watch this man and think he is competent? Everyone blasted Trump for “reading from the teleprompter” which all presidents do with speeches they usually write, at the very least, edit and practice. However, this idiot can’t even remember what he ate for breakfast! He has no clue what he is reading. He fumbles over his own words on a daily basis. It’s troubling. It’s more than troubling – it’s sad “the world” labelled Trump a laughing stock but this man gets no media traction criticizing his incompetency. I didn’t even care for Trump! He’s a NY Billionaire. But this is next level sad. It shows how little people understand the dire state of our nations political structure.
“How can you watch this man and think he is competent?”
Signs you’re in a cult for $600, Alex.
I’m not sure what there is about this that has so many people so upset. Biden cannot force people into going through an FFL to sell someone a gun. What happens if someone does sell one without an FFL? NOTHING! Does anyone here truly believe that everyone will actually do this? Sure some will. But some do this this anyway.
That ONLY advertising done to minors is for toys and that isn’t even advertised. Well, maybe NERF advertises. But that’s about it. Real guns are NOT advertised to minors in the first place and even if they were, they still aren’t. Minors cannot legally buy them.
This entire thing is just plain stupid. It wont fix any problems or save lives. Nothing gets accomplished outside of stirring the pot.
having an image of a young kid cradling an AR-15 like it was a new fire truck was not helpful…remember that one?…and some states [PA, for example] do require you to go through an FFL for a transfer…[pistols only…so far]…..even though that’s sometimes ignored…even by police officers!
frank,
“Some states [PA for example] do require you to go through an FFL for a transfer . . . . [pistols only…so far] . . . ”
Unfortunately, not true, my friend. CA, as only one example, requires ANY transfer of ANY firearm to go through an FFL, and be accompanied by a NICS check. Since this idiot law cannot be enforced in the real world, everyone ignores it for private, ‘person-to-person’ transfers, but that’s what the law requires. I bought a ‘sporterized’ 6.5 Swedish Mauser from a guy in the Midwest. Had to pay for HIM to take it to a local FFL, who shipped it to MY FFL (which I also had to pay for), and get a NICS check.
The Leftist/fascists never met a human right they were not willing to infringe.
supporters/passers/enforcers of gun control “laws/rules” are the enemies of America
