We’ve written about the DC Project here before and featured op-eds from the organization’s new Jersey Director, Theresa Inacker. The DC Project is a women’s organization that preaches firearms safety and violence prevention are achieved through education, not legislation. They encourage the preservation of America’s gun culture and highlight the diversity and rising demographic of female gun owners through ongoing advocacy because gun rights are women’s rights.
You may remember DC Project founder Dianna Muller’s testimony before the collective ignorance that is the House Judiciary Committee back in 2019. Here she is (starting at 4:00) telling the great minds on the committee (yes, that’s David Chipman sitting next to her) that they can enact whatever ban they want, but she — and tens of millions of Americans like her — simply will not comply.
Now the DC Project is out with a new video promoting the org, featuring the stories of two women, Lucretia Hughes and Mary Forgues.
Their message is simple. Gun control kills. It disarms law-abiding Americans and reduces or eliminates their ability to defend themselves and their families.
Our friends in the Civilian Disarmament Industrial Complex — people like the aforementioned David Chipman, Kris Brown, Shannon Watts and Gabby Giffords — see that as a feature, not a bug. But more and more Americans beg to differ.
Watch the brief video. It’s worth your time. You can read more about the DC Project here.
Good video. Now where can I get that cool HP safety in the thumbnail?
US History for $2000 Mayim…The two largest symbols of race based atrocities remaining in 2022 America…What is Gun Control and the democRat Party? Correctamundo.
Personally, I think it’s a good thing when women have control of their guns.
Yahtzee.
Well done. Do more. And support these people.
(I just can’t wait until Shannon Watts tells us that we hate The DC Project “because they’re women”…)
Not being a woman, I don’t really care about the babbling of women’s tribal groups. In fact, I’m pretty tired of the ladies’ “poor me” schtick.
The fact is that gun control hurts everyone.
This is great and all, but why can’t someone make a video with EVERYONE that has defended themselves lawfully with a firearm? Why do we always need to cut people up and put them into groups?? Why is one group’s need for self defense considered “holier” than another’s? That’s what has gotten us into the insane situation we are in today.
We need a video with a hundred people minimum, vetted, talking about how a gun has saved their life. Men, women, black, white, “Asian” (whatever that means, could be one of a hundred different races or cultures), etc., etc., etc., but not make any mention of the group that someone wants to put them in. Let’s just call them Americans. Give each up to five minutes to talk about how a gun saved their life.
And then make Congress watch the whole thing.
Jimmy (and Ralph), segmentation by demographic works and is not always a sop to race or sex. Woman-focused gear, classes, and initiatives bring more women into a “man’s” field, and that’s a win for gun rights all around. I applaud the work Ector and Maj are doing. Who do you think a Black American in a large US city is going to tune in to? Ted Nugent?
Just because the Second Amendment is for everyone, it doesn’t hurt to target your message and reach people where they are. JB, there are likely lots of all-embracing videos like you describe out there, but that’s not what the DC Project is. Yeah, Ralph, you’re not a woman, and you can assume these women are crying and “babbling” all you like. But they’re putting their stories out there to turn more reluctant women into gun owners. If you’re tired of it, take a nap.
Oh lordy lordy, wemon with gunms.
Yessiree bub.
The takers got their hands full now because no woman gives up nothing they want without one hell of a fight . And now that they’re arming themselves, their just as big as anybody.
Hell hath no fury like a woman disarmed.
But, as the anti gun folks have made quite clear, women, and everyone else are supposed to be unarmed sheep at the mercy of the thugs, criminals, and tyrants.

It really looks great, I’ve seen many other posts, that’s the info I needed, thanks for sharing.
