Sporter chambers suck for accuracy. A Bentz semi auto match chamber and I might be interested. Otherwise it is just a plinker.
I really like that .22 pistol (GBMFG Chassis, 8″ Barrel).
Unfortunately, the People’s Republic of New Jersey (PRNJ) classifies it as an “assault weapon” due to that little .22 target pistol having three scary-looking features.
Ditto for the GBMFG Chassis 16″ Barrel, also classified as an “assault weapon” in the PRNJ due to scary-looking features (not to mention the size of its magazine).
The ones with the Hogue stock and the Magpul stock are probably legal here, but how are they any better than a standard 10/22 rifle? You can put any standard 10/22 rifle into a Hogue stock or Magpul stock too, probably for less money.
How much more than a standard Ruger 10/22 do these cost, or is it one of those “If you have to ask the price, then you can’t afford it” situations?
P.S.: I just saw the website with the prices, and all I can say is, “Wow.” From $750 for the pencil-barrel in Hogue stock to $1,400 for the chassis rifle, those are hefty price tags for mere .22 rimfires! For that price, you could buy two Ruger Precision Rifle Rimfires and have plenty of cash left.
All that expense and still just a crappy plastic trigger.
But…but…Tandemkross bit.
