It’s too bad that our political atmosphere has made running for office distasteful for people like this. This man has the style and the substance. There are also many talking heads that he could replace and thereby benefit the world.

Yes, those that are constantly harping on our desire to hurt others cause we own a gun are projecting their own dark thoughts onto us. Some people should not be trusted with a gun and in my experience those people are usually gun grabbers.
Had a teacher once tell me he supported gun control “because he did not trust himself to have a gun and not be tempted to use it.”
How many grabbers have you encountered that made similar statements? They have dark, violent minds and emotions and they can’t understand that others do not. Like trying to tell a pedophile that not everyone wants to have sex with a 4 yo. They just don’t get it.

Projecting is the only thing grabbers seem to do well. My father is not exactly liberal, but he says the same thing about why people shouldn’t be allowed to own guns. He once told me about a coworker he has that disturbs him. A young guy that is into technology, is anti-authority, and a huge gun nut. He quoted back a few things he said. I immediately responded “Dad, you just described me perfectly”. His answer to that “I know, but I KNOW you and what you are capable of. That guy just isn’t right in the head”.
He is absofreakinglutely correct a very wise man…
100% truth. I have had this conversation a few times and it’s always ended with the anti gunner giving me the 1000yd stare and in so many words responding “I don’t believe you”.

Love that Mr.Noir summarizes what so many of us common sense gun owners feel and think in a casual, yet convincing manner. Sure firearms are an enjoyable hobby, but my primary reason for ownership is the safety of my loved ones, especially my kids. I pray I’ll never have to take a life, but I am not going to stand idly by and let someone harm those I love.
I wish I was half as eloquent as him.
