After a six-year hiatus, Slide Fire Solutions, the company that pioneered bump stock technology, has announced it is back in business following a Supreme Court ruling that overturned the federal ban on bump stocks just a couple of months ago. The Texas-based, veteran-owned company was forced to shut down in 2018 when the government imposed a ban on the sale and ownership of bump stocks, but the recent decision by the nation’s highest court has cleared the way for its return.
Jeremiah Cottle, CEO and patent holder at Slide Fire Solutions, announced in a press release, the relaunch of his family business, which has been a key player in the firearm accessories market.
“While the past few years have been difficult, we never lost sight of our commitment to the firearms community and our mission to deliver innovative, high-quality products,” Cottle said. “We are thrilled to be back and look forward to once again offering solutions that enhance the shooting experience for responsible gun owners across the country.”
Slide Fire’s return marks the beginning of a new chapter for the company. It plans to reintroduce its original line of products while also unveiling new designs focused on safety, performance and reliability. The company aims to continue its legacy of innovation, inviting both longtime supporters and new customers to explore its latest offerings.
With the legal barriers lifted, Slide Fire Solutions is eager to reclaim its position as a trusted name in the firearms industry. The Supreme Court’s decision to overturn the bump stock ban has given the company a clear path forward, allowing it to resume operations and meet the demands of the shooting community.
Good, may not ever own one even if it becomes legal here but no reason they or other products should be banned. Now back to normalizing suppressors, sbr/sbs, dd, full auto, and aow until common use gives way to shall not be infringed.
from observation it seems your country has eliminated the ‘not’ in Shall Not.🙂
Not the country. Just the judges Trump got put on the bench That interpret the Constitution as written.
Would have gone with.gov in general but one way or another I see that starting to go the other way.
Bump stocks are actually a conspiracy by ammo makers to get you to buy more product.
Lol yes.
You make that sound bad. ???
Most folks who buy ‘bump stocks’ will never be good enough to properly control their weapon. Work on your first shot placement and bringing your weapon back into engagement quickly.
Lol no.
No? What exactly do you mean by ‘no’? You think ‘spray and pray’ is more effective than good shot placement? Or that good follow up isn’t needed? Emptying a 30 rd mag at the speed of light does not guarantee you will eliminate the target. Even a three round burst is better.
What I mean is your misguided false equivalence comparison to full auto. This will not function the same way and your suggestion is at best misguided. For any actual use this product will see spray and pray is going to be about what happens regardless.
Riiiiiiiight.
Totally uncontrollable.

Veterinarians always think they’re coaching Appleseed.
Vetmike,
What we call “spray-and-pray” is a valid technique when multiple attackers are overrunning your position at close range, where “close range” means something like 15 feet.
For example, if four attackers are suddenly rushing me at 20 feet, I want the highest rate of fire possible. At that distance, I’ll take 8 rounds per second with less than accurate delivery over traditional semi-automatic rates with fast follow-up shots.
I won’t even respond to your comment about three-round burst mode since 99.9999% of the populace do not have access to three-round burst firearms.
You aren’t wrong, but I’d take a semi auto rifle with a good shooter, over bump fire, no matter the range. Besides, no one would ever take the time to engage the stock with people rapidly approaching, rather than just continuing to pull the trigger. Bump firing is just for fun, and that’s okay.
Ya know before they were banned I picked one up at a LGS. I thought “why”? Now that shop is permanently closed as is another not far away in Lake county,Indiana. Btw I told some folks .gov was going to ban “pistol” braces before it happened at yet another Indiana gun shop. Westforth & Blythe’s closed forever…
Except in Illannoy.🙄
FL, NY, few others.
Where is the accountability for the people who shut this business down for six years. Will the owners be reimbursed?
Good thought but of course not. There’s never any accountability. We’re the only ones expected to be held accountable.
“Where is the accountability for the people who shut this business down for six years“
You want accountability for the bump stock ban?
Then don’t re-elect Donald Trump.
“Acting Attorney General Whitaker made the following statement:
“President Donald Trump is a law and order president, who has signed into law millions of dollars in funding for law enforcement officers in our schools, and under his strong leadership, the Department of Justice has prosecuted more gun criminals than ever before as we target violent criminals. We are faithfully following President Trump’s leadership by making clear that bump stocks, which turn semiautomatics into machine guns, are illegal, and we will continue to take illegal guns off of our streets.”
On February 20, 2018, President Trump issued a memorandum instructing the Attorney General “to dedicate all available resources to… propose for notice and comment a rule banning all devices that turn legal weapons into machineguns.”
minor49iq…You are clearly bumpstock ignorant but don’t feel alone so are most Gun owners. Below is a link that explains POTUS DJT’s move on throwing bumpystocks under the bus. You’ll have to view until bumpstocks are clearly explained for knuckleheads just like you. And to do so you’ll have to connect the h in the link below…

“Below is a link that explains POTUS DJT’s move“
Why is it necessary for so many people to explain what Donald Trump really said or meant?
Disingenuous trolls and propaganda driven mass media?
“NAH MAN, you see, Trump banning bumpstocks wasn’t anti 2a because it’s 52 dimensional inverted underwater backgammon. His plan was a carefully constructed plan for it to set off a chain of events that would trickle down from the ATF to, like, 1000 government agencies and even the post office of Des Moine, so that gun owners could write a big scary lawsuit to the Supreme Court where they would strike down all gun control and give every citizen an AR with his face engraved and inlaid with gold on the maxwell.”
Can we just actually hold him accountable for stabbing his supporters in the back instead of acting like we care more about him than our rights?
I still prefer him over Kamala but I cannot believe the amount of people who will excuse that. It wasn’t even the most anti-2A thing he did when he voiced support for red flag laws and the complete and total ban of suppressors because of a single shooting in something like 50 years with one.
The dude even agreed with Pelosi on her AWB proposition, but backed down when people rightfully got pissed at him.
He has an opportunity to make people happy AGAIN if he gets it, maybe we will at least get some form of economic relief, but that’s about it. A repeat of 2016-2018 when they had EVERYTHING and failed to advance a single progun bill will not be acceptable again. Anyone with an actual backbone about this topic needs to decide if they care about gun rights or this dude. If he works for us, great, but if he stabs us in the back again, I will permanently put his name in the same category as Diane Fienstein, David Hogg, and Shannon Watts. At least with them you know they are honest about their deceit, they aren’t going to pretend to be your friend.
Yes he did, but it’s nothing compared to what liberals would like to see if they had the control needed.
Hopefully folks learned something and buy with cash and no purchase trail.
Never owned one, but I’ll buy one now just cuz.
What’s a fair price point?
“What’s a fair price point?”
They were *way* over-priced to begin with, over 300 USD if memory serves.
Someone has to have the 3-D files somewhere, maybe a hundred bucks in filament to print your own using the kid down the street?
Not a product I need, but still shouldn’t be illegal. Of course no firearms, or arms in general should be restricted. Firearms, knives, swords, crossbows, RPG’s, tanks or artillery are all considered arms. As well as any and all supporting items, ammunition, or ancillary products.
Those in favor of more restrictions or bans or other firearm related laws need to demonstrate exactly which of their demands will in any way prevent anyone with evil or criminal intent from committing whatever act of violence they decide to do.
Here, Here!!!
I can see restrictions in safe storage and requiring failsafe explosive vents for storage of high explosives especially when the neighbors live close enough to be in primary or secondary damage zones. Aside from that unrestricted claymore roombas for burglar alarm response should be fine.
As a former customer I’m very happy to read this. Wonderful!!!
I paid close attention to their last innovation. They had developed a belt fed firearm. I hope they bring that back. I still have a copy of their orginal customer catalog.
We will see if more people continue in the “gun community” to support adultery and drug leg-@li-z@tio-n than support bumpstock ownership. That was certainly the trend.
“people continue in the “gun community” to support adultery“
Yes, many of them support the serial adulterer Donald Trump, who has five kids by three different wives, not to mention adulterous affairs with penthouse pets and porn stars.
Because character counts…
minor49iq…Compared to the hawk tuah heels up cackling hyena POTUS DJT is a Saint.
TRUMP/VANCE 2024.
“Compared to the… “
All you have is rumor and innuendo, nothing of substance to offer.
Trump paid the penthouse pet and the porn star hundreds of thousands of dollars to keep their mouth shut regarding his adultery, those facts have been demonstrated beyond any doubt in a court of law.
The checks, signed personally by Donald Trump, have been entered into evidence.
And Trump used business funds to pay his hush money, then deducted it from his taxes as a business expense.
Thus, his 34 felony convictions for business fraud.
He is a cheat and a liar, as established in open court.
it’s really funny what you say. When you supported Bill Clinton. Serial adultery. A rapist. A war monger. An anti-civil rights gun grabber. A supporter of Osama Ben Laden. And a pot head who didn’t inhale.
And yet had thousands of his fellow pot users arrested.
On the other hand President Trump leg.alize-d mar-ijua.na in 2018.
“A supporter of Osama Ben Laden“
Of all of your empty claims, this one interests me the most. Perhaps you could provide some specifics with which to substantiate your assertion?
“Because character counts…”
Pfui. You are presenting a straw man. We’re supporting Trump because he is capable of foiling your nefarious schemes, not because we think he’s the paragon of virtue. You need to spend more time watching Eastwood westerns, and less time shooting light fixtures with your kids.
“Because character counts…”
“Pfui“
So the conservatives no longer think character counts?
“We’re supporting Trump because he is capable… “
Wow, he sure has you fooled.
Donald Trump had four years to ‘fix’ the election and yet he still claims the election was stolen from him.
He claimed no terrorism in the United States during his presidency, another big fat lie:
“Trump’s own Justice Department alleged that a mass murder in New York City in 2017, which killed eight people and injured others, was a terrorist attack carried out in support of ISIS; Trump repeatedly lamented this attack during his presidency. Trump’s Justice Department also alleged that a 2019 attack by an extremist member of Saudi Arabia’s military, which killed three US servicemembers and injured others at a military base in Florida, “was motivated by jihadist ideology” and was carried out by a longtime “associate” of al Qaeda.“
He claimed “the American carnage will end, right here, right now!”.
Then he had to admit he failed:
“Remarks by President Trump on the Mass Shootings in Texas and Ohio
Issued on: August 5, 2019
Diplomatic Reception Room
10:08 A.M. EDT
THE PRESIDENT: Good morning. My fellow Americans, this morning, our nation is overcome with shock, horror, and sorrow. This weekend, more than 80 people were killed or wounded in two evil attacks.
On Saturday morning, in El Paso, Texas, a wicked man went to a Walmart store, where families were shopping with their loved ones. He shot and murdered 20 people, and injured 26 others, including precious little children.
Then, in the early hours of Sunday morning in Dayton, Ohio, another twisted monster opened fire on a crowded downtown street. He murdered 9 people, including his own sister, and injured 27 others.“
Character of one vastly exceeds Harris so your argument is invalid.
minor I’m surprised you didn’t call him out for blaming the shootings on the shooters and not the guns. No bonus on your check this week
The Los Vegas shooting that caused the banning of bump stocks in the first place has yet to be explained by the government. Can we really expect the government agencies of today to solve anything?
Another biden/harris supporter.
MSNBC…….. Well getting more creative in throwaway handles.
“has yet to be explained by the government“
Why do you think the government has an obligation to explain the actions of a mentally disturbed person?
I guess that’s true and explains why we’ve never got a government explanation about you.
If bump-stocks are good-to-go (at the federal level), shouldn’t forced-reset triggers be good-to-go (at the federal level) as well? Or are forced-reset triggers once again legal (at the federal level) just in certain federal appellate jurisdictions? If so, which jurisdictions?
Sad part is they will probably be sued into bankrupcy by state AG’s and gun control groups even thought they make a perfectly legal product. Same thing just happened to Poly 80.
I will get one even if a see no need for it. Just to have it for a range toy.
