I’m… Speechless. Absolutely at a loss for words. Which, if you’ve read anything I’ve ever written, you’ll realize is no mean feat. I’ve been hanging out with the guys at Advanced Armament Corporation all afternoon; throwing paper airplanes during lunch at a hibachi restaurant, listening to Kevin pontificate about firearms (he’s fascinating), and sitting in on meetings about AAC’s upcoming marketing campaigns. Not to mention having free reign of a place that’s MAKING SUPPRESSORS WHILE I WATCHED. I was in nerd heaven. Here’s what you can expect once I regain my vocabulary…

  • An extended interview with Kevin, founder of AAC
  • An interview with Mike Smith, one of the R&D guys
  • A video of Kevin discussing silencers at great length
  • A behind the scenes look at some experimental and “military requested” designs
  • AAC’s new AR-15 lower (NEVER BEFORE SEEN)
  • The first pictures of the box for AAC’s integrally suppressed 10/22
Until I have time to transcribe this all, here’s some pictures to keep you salivating.

  1. that window makes it look like they have a Tie Fighter in their office, which in turn makes them even cooler than they already were.

    • I think thats what they were going for. From Nick’s earlier post: “From what I’ve heard their workshop is like Willie Wonka’s chocolate factory for gun nerds, a magical place where all your NFA dreams come to life and complete with Death Star theme. “

  2. Man, I’d do anything to work at AAC.

Need a good IT guy AAC? I could totally reinvent the way you guys do NFA paperwork and I live in GA already so relocating would be simple.

Also I promise not to wear argyle to work!
