If you’re reading this that probably means my plane pushed back from the gate and departed relatively on time. Or I’m stuck in purgatory on the runway and can’t use my phone. Either way, I’m off to the Knob Creek machine gun shoot. If any of our readers are going to be there I hope to arrive at the registration desk tomorrow morning sometime around 7:30 AM so I can watch the first round of the competitions kick off. I’ll be posting pictures and video from the event all weekend (and most of next week too), so keep an eye out.

Nick, they shoot anti-aircraft guns at Knob Creek, so you might want to take evasive action before landing. Jus’ sayin’.
