Okay, I’m not certain it’s a Glock. (Could be Springfield XD, too.) At any rate, this is a pretty cool update on the WWII-era Rosie the Riveter poster. And she’s practicing better trigger discipline than most actors found on movie posters. You can see this poster, and a bunch of others I like even better, over at LibertyManiacs.com.

So far I’m very happy with the “first wave” of women gun owners since there is strength in greater numbers, they seem responsible, and government is more sensitive to women yelling demands about their liberties than men demanding our rights. For the future, I do have concerns with the modern values of some modern women that I’ve known — owning and carrying guns — who want power and the freedom to act yet do not want to be held liable to the same standards of legal responsibility.

Being politically-correct or chivalrous does not change facts. In America and England, the Criminal Court systems often apply vastly different standards of accountability and sentencing to men and women. Western societies are filled with lots of double-standards and I’m not referring to the tall tales put forth by the mass media, universities, or politicians. Men (traditional or modern) generally know they will be held accountable for their actions as they are held to a higher standard of accountability than women by society and the courts. If gun ownership ever turns into another must-own to be empowered popular fashion-trend among modern western women there are going to be shootings that should never have occurred.
It may surprise you to learn that according to the USG Center for Disease Control CDC that most domestic violence in our modern society in begun by women (not us men). According to the CDC, 70% of one-way DV attacks (when the victim does not hit back) are women initiated against men. Most children are killed by the mother and not the father or some stranger. Mothers are known to abuse their children more than fathers. In London, 25% of street attacks are now done by young women. We’re seeing increasing levels of violence from females of all ages. I could go on and on since I am well-aware of what is going on behind the scenes in the areas of sexual politics, laws, and relations in modern western societies. Bottom line: there are a large number of women (indoctrinated by feminism) in modern society that are anti-male, they lack responsibility, accountability, and don’t believe laws are written for them.
There are lots of good, honorable, and responsible women out there who I trust owning and carrying guns. Yet en mass, in the modern West, I am concerned with the self-righteous entitlement behavior permeating our cultures and societies, and how that translates to ownership and CC.
Rosie looks like a tranny in this poster. Disproportionately large hand/fingers. Her eye brows are much thicker, like a mans, than the real Rosie poster. Which begs the question why would Rosie not bother to pluck her eye brows but s/he put on lip stick and finger nail polish. And why black nail polish?
That hoagie-size index finger was the first thing I saw. Weird.
If this Rosie aspires to any of the principles of the original, that needs to be an American pistol.
Historical tidbit: Rosie allegedly left the factory where she was modeled at, for the famous poster, to go work in a bookstore.
