I was using Twitter as a forum to write what was on my mind. I tweeted about guns and I received a message from Robert Farago that simply said, “You’re a funny guy. Fancy writing for TTAG? And the rest, as they say, is history. I doubted myself in the beginning because most of my writings were 140 characters or less. But with RF’s help, I was able to tap into my creative gun side. My job as a police officer revolves around guns and the use thereof. My training and expertise in the field has been used to demonstrate to the readers of TTAG that (at least some) police officers believe in the 2nd Amendment rights to bear arms. I thank RF for this opportunities he has given me. I have enjoyed reading what all the talented writers have offered and look forward to another great year of reading and writing. Thanks again and congratulations on turning two. Happy Shooting!

  1. Thank you, Chris. I have to say (and maybe it’s because I have lived most of my life in small towns), most of the law enforcement officers I know take their oath “to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States” seriously. As do the vast majority of people in the military, and veterans of the military.

  2. Thanks everyone for the positive messages. Have a great day. On shift all weekend so trying to make the best of it…
