I know Robert has a thing for sleek and sexy Israelis. And while this isn’t technically a chick, it still is a sleek and sexy product of the holy land. I’ll have a full review of the Negev LMG in a few days, but in the meantime please enjoy these glamor shots.
They get you to review a Negev? Great…
Ok Nick.. I have to say this..
I am envious. Yeah I have learned to admit it. I am jealous of your gun. It’s ok, I have gotten therapy to learn to accept this.
In doing so I have gotten rid of most of the bad feelings..
But..
I still feel like seeing someone else hanging on your ex girlfriend. There is still a little feeling there. 🙂
That’s some nice gun porn. 🙂
Dear IMI. Please start making a semi auto version of this in your PA facility. Also, please make it feed from a stanag magazine… PS. Where the hell is my USA legal galil?
And while we are at it, lets get the x95 out, my Tavor needs a friend.
Century Arms calls them the Golani. Wasn’t impressed by the fit & finish, but again, its Century.
They could call it the “Desert Destroyer”. Double D for short. How about some great looking woman to go with this porn?
Looks like any other black rifle.
One could make that argument for boobies….
But, like you, they’d be wrong.
Obviously, you don’t like them. Because they’re black.
Swarf,
My dear friend, belt fed weapon systems are not like any other black rifle!!
Happiness is a belt fed…
thanks for the unsatisfied boner, guess ill have to wait for the real review
Nick, you might want to read up on the definition of the word “sleek”. That blocky-ass rifle ain’t it…
I’ll bet it’s gonna be a hell of a lot of fun to shoot, though.
Its sleek for an LMG, that’s what he’s defining it by. This thing looks smaller and lighter than a M-249 SAW, its main competition.
That’s an awesome piece of equipment. I only wish you could have had a chance to fire it, though, Nick. Muzzle flash is the money shot of gun porn.
That is sexy! Hey, IMI, make some US Galils, we want ’em!
Love to see a side-by-side comparison with the SAW. Looks like it might be a little lighert, and of course the mag goes in the bottom instead of the side. The feed ramp looks similar, thought.
Did an MG42 hump a SAW?
In all seriousness, though, that looks like a light barrel for an MG. Anybody know he service life on barrels?
If the Israelis use the same system we do, the weapon comes with two headspaced barrels matched to the receiver.
How much does it weigh? Is it lighter than a PKM(about 7.5 kg empty)?
I know TTAG writers have a thing for snarky comments about pretty Jewish girls who wouldn’t give them the time of day. And while TTAG’s gun reviews really technically are not about respect, how about occasionally giving more than a few grains of it and capitalizing “Holy Land”.
nick specifically referenced ‘israeli’s’, who are demographically represented as 75% jewish. that being said and as much as i flinch whenever FWW alludes to his better half’s melanin levels (shoes? is that you?) i feel compelled to mention that my wife has thought she was jewish since before i met her (she was going on sixteen then and i a lecherous fool). and while i’ve never asked her for the time she has often times shown me what time it was, and given freely.
my favorite hot israeli gal can be viewed by youtubing ‘meytal cohen’ interpreting the (awful) “moves like jagger” song.
Jealous!!!
Why is a gun going to be reviewed that none of us can own? It is just a waste of time.
i spend a lot more time reading about vincent’s than i do about honda’s. i’ll have a cz75 soon enough but spend more time reading about the sig p210.
@JT Do you blame that on the King or the messenger?
Shhh. . ., can’t we just look at it for awhile ; )
Belt, Drum and mag fed. LAUS DEO!!!
