We saw an early version of Warne’s Skyline Precision Bipod last year at the NRAAM. They started shipping last fall. Now Warne has announced that, in response to customer demand, they’re updating the Skyline with rapid deploy legs.

Best of all, the new version is three ounces lighter than the original and has an MSRP that’s $20 less at $379 (about $320 retail).

Here’s Warne’s press release . . .

Warne Bipod Now With Rapid-Deploy Legs

The key to being a market leader is to listen to your customers. In an attempt to offer the best products available, Warne Scope Mounts has updated the Skyline bipod to include Rapid Deploy legs.

“We have received great feedback about the bipod and the one feature many customers were looking for was rapid deploy legs,” said Randy Parks, Director of Marketing.

The new feature allows the user to instantly deploy the legs to 90° or use the button-locked positions at 0°, 45° or 90°. This flexibility benefits the hunter as well as the precision shooter who needs to rapidly transition from unsupported to supported shooting positions.

“The popularity of the Skyline bipod has been phenomenal and with this added feature along with 3oz. of weight savings, we are confident we have the best performing bipod on the market”, said Parks.

  1. They look just like the 50+/-$ ones I got at ACE hardware. That’s more than my gun cost. Oh well, to each his own.
