It seems no one actually waits for the day after Thanksgiving any more. If your inbox is anything like ours, you’ve been getting promos for Black Friday deals for a couple of weeks now. Dozens of them. Each day.
We’ve seen email blasts from names like Ammunition Depot, ArachniGrip, Beretta, Bud’s, CrossBreed, EOTech, Gunwerks, Hornady, Tyrant Designs, Vertx and 5.11…just to name a few.
Oh, and in a shameless bit of self-promotion, we just so happen to be offering all TTAG swag at a discount for Black Friday, too (the sale runs through Sunday). Just use the discount code: THANKS at checkout.
But who’s got time to troll all of those sites for the best deals? TTAG’s Armed Intelligentsia, that’s who.
So share with your fellow readers. Post the best deals you’ve seen in the comments below and help a fellow gun owner out.
Nope.
I was looking for a resource here, not a do-it-yourself article kit.
+1
Ditto. I come here looking for information not really to give it lol.
What a bunch of douchebags you and the 2 posters above you are. Happy holidays you cuntheads
Wow … your eloquence and wit would really sting, if I knew who you are and actually cared about your opinion. But I don’t and likely wouldn’t anyway, respectively.
In any case, not that you asked, but I’m increasingly weary of the “Hey, readers, post something clever!” articles since the site was sold. It’s bad enough when it’s one of the “Hey what do you think about this we-hope-controversial statement” types, but an article about Black Friday deals that relies 99.9% on reader-supplied content to be at all useful? Seriously? Meanwhile, features I – and by reading comments, other readers – really liked, such as the daily digest and the weekly caption contests, have disappeared.
I used to enjoy the back-and-forth discussion in comments about articles, even with posters like you around, JD. Articles can provide a solid foundation for discussion, as well as useful information in the technical, political or social realms if the site management cares enough to generate them. I’m finding, however, that any more I may as well just browse discussion boards since articles like this drive TTAG closer to predominantly user-supplied content generation anyway. If you don’t see that, or don’t care, that’s fine; but it makes me kind of sad.
Really?? You are judged by the language you use. Any 8 yr. old can use potty language.
that was awesome. the “d” stands for dringus.
I am no fan of Glocks or the 40 S&W. However, GT Supply has G22’s (gen2) for $260! Yes, they are police trade-ins but $260 has to be some “hell’uva” deal.
+1 on the GT deals on cop trade-ins. I scored a Gen 3 G17 from them a few years ago that was a trade-in from the security force at a nuclear plant. Plenty of holster wear on the frame but the innerds were practically new. Picked it up for about $300 if memory serves.
Was it safe to say that deal was hot?
….
You’ve heard of tritium night sights? Heck, that whole gun glows in the dark! 😉
*Pfffftp*.
Tritium is just a Beta emitter.
If it’s gonna be ‘hot’ radioactive, go Gamma or go home 🙂 :

Gen2 G22s are the ones that are famous for exploding…
Spend the extra $20 and get a Gen3.
Lots of people are running the Federal Black Pack (Blazer Brass) deals, but Bud’s has them for truly nutty prices (after mail-in rebate):
9mm 115g FMJ: $130/1000
.22LR 36g CPHP: $29.99/1600 (under 2 cents/round)
.223 55g FMJ: $64.99/300 (equivalent of $216.63/1000)
.45ACP 230g FMJ: $54.98/300 (equivalent of $183.27/1000)
And this is for new brass ammo from a reputable domestic mfgr. Crazy.
This is what the article shouldve been. Appreciate it!
Everything but wheel gun ammo.

Use pull-down for caliber, enter zip code for shipping costs. Click on CPR in the table headers for delivered cost per round.
Best I can see for .22lr is 5000 for $150 ($0.03/ea)
PSA has the same .223 package for 69.99 with MIR and free shipping.
Shipping waaayyy too much at Buds
There’s deals aplenty. I’m picking up an AR and looking for Pmags and ammo. I wish I had more $ as I see Ruger is selling SR9’s & 9C below $300. Pretty good gun…everyone has great deals except Cabela’s/Bass Pro.
Dsarms has p mags for 89 bucks for 10.
I’ve seen PMags aplenty for .223/5.56, but the availability in .308 at a great price for 10 rounders is slim, not after adding shipping. And the parts I am looking for to finish a build are all sold out or not on sale. I got a good price on a Wilson Combat handguard, but it has been a week and it still hasn’t shipped, so it must be out of stock too. Primary Arms has some pretty decent prices, and SIG is having a sale on its sights, scopes, and binoculars.

Rural King 10% off pretty much everything in store including guns and ammo Thursday through Saturday . I hope to score a ruger precision in the mighty 6.5 creedmore for 1149.99 x 10% + 6% sales tax = $ 1097.
I bought 5 of the Federal Black Packs of .223 @ Brownell’s. They were $99.99 – $10.00 discount + free shipping with a discount code. With the additional $20 rebate they were a great deal.
Ebates also gives you 2.5% cash back @ Brownell’s. So I’m starting to always order through the Ebates App. My Wife was already using it and sent me a referral. So after I bought $20 worth of stuff, she got a $25 bonus and I got $10. If you don’t know anyone using the app you can get a $10 bonus after spending $20 if you use this link https://go.ebat.es/oOeruX7kQP Besides Brownell’s they also give rebates for purchases @ Academy, Bass Pro, Cabela’s, Sportsmans Guide and a few other outdoor suppliers.
Palmetto state armory.
I bought an Eotech 512 from Primary Arms for $369.99. I haven’t found them for less.
Here’s a good one. GoGun USA has a holiday 35% off deal through 12/10 on all of its super comp muzzle brakes. Enter HH35 in the coupon code at purchase. I was planning on buying one any way, so I was happy to save almost $28 on an $79.50 brake.
