Thanks to the good folks at Winchester, TTAG has ten boxes of PDX1 410 personal defense ammunition to give away. One lucky reader will be able load up their Taurus Judge (you DO have a Taurus Judge don’t you?) with ammo designed to ruin a bad guy’s day. Specifically, the PDX1 shell combines three plated Defense Disc projectiles and 12 pellets of plated BB shot. (That’s GOT to hurt.) Claiming this prize is as easy as point and shoot. And you don’t even have to own a gun . . .

1. Video yourself drawing a finger gun from your holster, moving and shooting. Do it in slow motion. [Note: don’t record it in slow motion. Do the move very, very slowly.] Points are awarded for smoothness, technique [click here for pointers], style and mouth sound effects. Don’t forget to reholster your weapon when you’re done.

2. Upload the video to YouTube

3. Email the “Share” code to [email protected]

Gun guru David Kenik of Armed Response will choose the winner on Elvis’ Death Day (August 16). The winner will be notified by a post here and via email. Must be over 18 to enter.

  1. Sigh. This contest for some reason makes me remember that I was once able to buy winchester .45 ACP rounds for $10 a box (50 rounds) and that now I can't even at twice the price. Heck, you can't even get Wolf .45 ammo at that price. 🙁

  2. Hello There. I found your blog using msn. This is an extremely well written article. I will make sure to bookmark it and come back to read more of your useful info. Thanks for the post. I will definitely return.

  3. I have a 410 Saiga with 15/30 round magazines that require 3″ Shells so I don’t have a lot of choices but I think I will still buy The PDX 1 . It looked to me that the BB’s where simply following the trajectory just wider. When you shot down they went below the larger projectiles and to the right when you shot to the right and to the left of the larger projectiles when you shot to the left. So if you were to shoot straight they may spread out but till go straight. Plus the larger projectiles are larger and flatter than buck shot for more stopping power!
