I LOVE my Zastava MP22R. Ever since I bought it off that drug addict it’s been my favourite firearm to take on a range trip. Which makes it unfortunate that Charles Daly (and subsequently Remington) stopped importing them a while back. But there’s good news: K-VAR is picking up where Remington left off and bringing them into the country once more. They will be available in three grades: “crap” for $299, “okay” for $25 more and “pristine” for $25 on top of that.
I actually like this gun. May buy one.

Thanks for the update. I went back and re-read your older review where you criticized the trigger and mechanics. Any idea if those aspects have been improved? How does the Zastava compare to the CZ .22LR blot actions?
Any idea if any of these might end up here in Canada?
